When Rodrigo began riding, Nelson Pessoa discovered that most pony saddles were simply downsized adult saddles. To make riding easier for his son, Nelson adjusted the seat by making the twist and width suitable for a young person's body. He spent weeks measuring ponies backs and testing trees and panels to find the ideal combination for both rider and pony.
