This bit has a free-rotating barrel, copper inlay on the mouthpiece and hooks. Independent side movement allows the rider to isolate one side of the bit for bending, balancing or lifting a shoulder. The mouthpiece (MB 32) is a little straighter than the Comfort Snaffle.
Hooks offer leverage with direct action type bits. This feature rolls the mouthpiece forward and downward into the tongue and bars with rein pressure, encouraging the horse to break at the poll.
Myler has designed an entire BITTING SYSTEM to effectively communicate with any horse at any level of training. Some of the features include: - Curved mouthpiece: gives tongue relief, permits swallowing, relaxes - Copper inlay: encourages salivation - Collapsible mouthpiece: rewards horse to relax at poll - Independent side movement: allows rider to isolate one side of bit - Hooks that attach to cheek pieces & reins - gives leverage
