This bit has a thick 20 mm (3/4 inch) mouth piece with a copper, double jointed oval center. This will encourage ponies to salivate, relax and accept the bit. In addition, it has all the advantages and features found in John Patterson (JP) bits.

JP bits have a curved shape that eliminates the interference that conventional bits can cause. All JP bits feature curved bars that prevent the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth and eliminate the nutcracker-like action that can pinch a horse's tongue. Available in 4, 4 1/2 and 4 3/4 inch with 3 inch rings.
