The French Mouth Eggbutt Snaffle has a French link in the center of the bit. This provides extra tongue room and alleviates pressure on the bars of the mouth.

The ring size is 3 1/8 x 2 5/8 inches for the 4 1/2" bit and 3 1/2 x 3 inches for the 4 3/4" bit.
