This pony is a New Forest pony, whose ancestors can be traced to 11th-century England where they roamed free. Today, New Forest ponies can still be found roaming wild and free in southern England and are popular pleasure and driving mounts.

Enchanted Forest bested more than 100 of the top ponies in the country to win the Medium Pony Hunter Championship at the 2006 United States Equestrian Federation National Pony Finals, where he also carried his young rider to victory in the National Pony Medal Finals.
