Every Native Lights horse you activate comes with an Animal Companion that will also appear in your stable along with the horse you have activated. The idea for Animal Companions comes from the traditions and beliefs of Native American tribes. In those traditions, the animal shares its learning, wisdom, energy and strength with its companion.

The Native Lights series includes 72 new cards total: 45 regular horse cards, 10 rare energy cards, and 17 "shiny" horse cards. Each horse card features a new animal friend, a companion and guide linked to the spirit of nature and to the horse.
